The ferrymen of the Erdre

Near Nantes, at Trans-sur-Erdre, the Transmission association includes 450 volunteers from multiple social origins that, all generations included, wear the same artistic and educative ideal. Each summer, they deliver to more than 10 000 viewers an historical reconstitution. The latest evokes the World War II and the acts of resistance in the region. Between fictional scenes and daily reality, Les Passeurs de l’Erdre gives a cinematographic dimension to this performance as well as the humanist vocation of the Transmission.
