The Hidden Faces of Lyon’s Hôtel-Dieu

The film “The Hidden Faces of Lyon’s Hôtel-Dieu” dives into selected moments of the most symbolic hospital of Lyon across eight centuries since it’s creation near 1137. Fifty-two minutes to draw the epic journey of this hospital, the set of major medical discoveries and now famous doctors and scientists. At it’s peak during the eighteenth century, the famous building has seen it’s structure modeled and changed by some of the most famous architects from the Age of Enlightenment.
